If David Lynch ever makes a movie starring Tom Waits & Snoop Dogg, Kassy Key & the Raindoggs would have to be on the soundtrack.
Kassy Key & the Raindoggs rose from the ashes of a failed Tom Waits tribute band. The Dogg’s are the quintessential “indie band” from Austin TX. They produce their own music as well as their own music videos. (The Raindoggs: Official Music Videos) and recently started producing videos for other bands around town (Music Videos by Raindogg) as well as a monthly Cabaret at the Spider House Ballroom.

Raindogg is the bass player, bandleader, primary songwriter and producer of the band Kassy Key & the Raindoggs. He is also a co-founder of We Don’t Suck Productions.
Raindogg grew up in Brooklyn/Long Island, NY. After moving to Austin, TX due to the increasing in rent, he started We Don’t Suck Productions with friend/photographer Isaac Solomon (AKA The DreadedPhoto).
Highlights of Raindogg’s career include Bass player for NYC hardcore band Beyond, PA on Macbeth in Manhattan (babysat Ally Sheedy‘s daughter), Woody Allen’s Sweet and Lowdown, 98′ MTV Music Awards, and several indie films. He has als0 directed an off off Broadway play, was a runner for Wu-Tang Clan, Art Director for the Village Voice and Cameraman for Mistral’s Daughters DVD Extras.
